Our History
Started in 1986 as a small Cardiff outfit. Now over 100 staff, £12m turnover, working on projects across the UK.
The beginning
Andrew Morris founded the business as "Denver Construction Services" — a small Cardiff office and yard. No 26,000 sq ft facility, no 100 staff. Just a start.
First expansion
Moved to Dumballs Road in Cardiff Bay — a two-unit warehouse with offices, room enough to set up a drawing office and a sheet metal fabrication department.
Achieved £3m turnover with approximately 50 employees.
New facilities
Bought a larger building 200 yards up the road — purpose-built offices overlooking the production floor. The kind of setup that makes it easier to run a growing business properly.
Revenue reached £5m during this growth phase.
Merger and rebrand
Merged with former competitor Alurite and moved into a purpose-built factory with offices — over 25,000 sq ft. The company was rebranded as Denvalco.
Two companies who knew the same industry from different angles, now under one roof.
Where we are now
After a period of management restructuring, the business has grown steadily year on year. We now operate from a 26,000 sq ft facility on Capital Business Park in Cardiff.
Achieved £12m revenue with approximately 100 staff members operating nationally.
Nearly 40 years and still based in Cardiff
The company has changed a lot since 1986 — different name, different building, far more people. What hasn't changed is that we're still a Welsh manufacturer doing the work ourselves.
Today we produce curtain walling, windows, doors and pressed metal products for construction projects across the UK.
