DWP is in the process of relocating its back office and benefit processing operations, from numerous offices around South Wales to a new HQ based in the Treforest Industrial Estate.
This new HQ will house more than 1,700 workers relocated from Cardiff, Newport, Cwmbran, Merthyr and Caerphilly, in a five floor, 133,000sqm modern building. It will also produce 252 car parking spaces and 170 bike parking spaces.
TThe scheme is funded by Legal and General and delivered with Right acres in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taf Council.
