Denvalco supplies aluminium windows and doors to commercial and high-specification residential projects across the UK. We work with specifiers, main contractors and developers who need fenestration that performs against the current regulatory baseline and sits properly inside a wider facade package.
What we supply
Our aluminium range covers the fenestration components most commonly specified on RIBA Stage 3 and Stage 4 projects:
- Casement windows
- Tilt and turn windows
- Pivot windows
- Sliding and lift-and-slide doors
- Bi-fold doors
- Commercial entrance doors, including automatic and manual options
- Louvre windows and parallel opening vents
Every unit is configured around the opening schedule, thermal target and acoustic requirement shown on the drawings. Nothing is pulled from a fixed catalogue.
Systems we work with
We are approved fabricators and installers for the major European aluminium systems, including Reynaers, Aluprof and Kawneer. System selection is driven by the project: U-value targets, spanning requirements, ironmongery schedule, CWCT testing and any interface with curtain walling or rainscreen cladding already on the drawings.
If a system has been named by the architect or facade consultant, we build to that. If the specification is performance-based, we will recommend the system that meets the targets at the right cost for the project.
Performance and compliance
We supply aluminium windows and doors that meet or exceed the standards expected on UK commercial and residential projects.
- Thermal performance tested to BS EN ISO 10077, with U-values from 1.4 W/m²K where required
- Weather performance tested to BS EN 12207, 12208 and 12210
- Security rated to PAS 24:2022, suitable for Approved Document Q compliance
- Optional Secured by Design accreditation
- Acoustic performance up to Rw 45 dB for residential and mixed-use schemes above noise-sensitive routes
- CWCT testing on integrated facade elements where the window or door sits within a curtain walling or unitised system
Where a project requires fire-rated glazed doors or EI30 / EI60 screens, we can supply those under the same specification package.
Sectors
Our aluminium fenestration is specified across:
- Residential and build-to-rent towers
- Student accommodation
- Hotels and serviced apartments
- Commercial office new build and refurbishment
- Education and healthcare
- Retail and mixed-use schemes
How we deliver
Every project runs through the same sequence. We review the architect’s drawings and schedules, confirm performance criteria with the facade consultant where one is appointed, produce shop drawings for sign off, fabricate through our supply chain partners, deliver to an agreed sequence and install with our own teams or with main contractor labour under our supervision.
Most of the issues that show up on aluminium fenestration packages come from the interfaces rather than the product itself. The junction with the structure, the damp proof course, the cladding line and the curtain walling head and cill are where details tend to slip. We work those out on paper before anything is ordered.
Specification support
If you are writing or reviewing an NBS specification for aluminium windows and doors, we can:
- Review performance schedules against the facade strategy
- Confirm what is achievable within the budget
- Advise on which system to name against which elements
- Supply tested data sheets and PAS 24 certificates for the design submission
Talk to us
If you have a project at RIBA Stage 3 or Stage 4 and need a fenestration supplier who can engage at the specification level, send across the drawings and the performance schedule. We will come back with a costed proposal and any technical questions worth resolving before tender.
